According to the results of January-August 2021, the volume of exports of fruits and vegetables amounted to 548.6 million USD, in physical terms – 948.6 thousand tons. Compared to the same period in 2020, the volume of exports decreased by 47.1 million USD (-7.9%).

The largest share in the export of fruits and vegetables in value terms is occupied by vegetables (44.6%), fruits and berries (35.6%). For the period January-August 2021, 579.0 thousand tons of vegetables were exported in the amount of 244.8 million USD, as well as 198.4 thousand tons of fruits and berries in the amount of 195.0 million USD.

In January-August 2021, the share of fruits and vegetables in total exports amounted to 5.9%.

The main export markets for fruits and vegetables are Russia (31.9%), Kazakhstan (23.5%), Kyrgyzstan (14.9%), Pakistan (7.0%) and China (5.8%).
