According to the results of January-October 2022, the volume of exports of fruits and vegetables amounted to 903.3 million USD, in physical terms – 1 425.3 thousand tons. The growth rate compared to the same period in 2021 amounted to 20.9%.

The largest share in the export of fruits and vegetables in value terms is occupied by grapes (incl. dried) – 24.0%, peach – 7.5%, mung bean – 6.6%, tomato – 5.4%, melons and watermelons – 4.1%, cabbage – 3.8%, sweet cherry – 3.7%, onion – 3.7%.

In January-October 2022, the share of fruits and vegetables in total exports amounted to 5.8%.

The main countries importing Uzbek fruits and vegetables include Russia (44.5%), Kazakhstan (20.0%), China (7.4%), Pakistan (7.4%), Kyrgyzstan (4.2%), Afghanistan (2.5%), Turkey (2.3%), Belarus (1.7%), Iran (1.2%), Azerbaijan (1.1%).
