Export of fruits and vegetables of the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-April 2023
 

According to the results of January-April 2023, the volume of exports of fruits and vegetables amounted to 256.1 million USD, in physical terms – 359.2 thousand tons. The growth rate compared to the same period in 2022 amounted to 6.5%.

The largest share in the export of fruits and vegetables in value terms is occupied by mung bean – 13.7%, dried grape – 10.4%, dried prune – 7.0%, tomato – 6.1%, cabbage – 5.1%, fresh grape – 4.3%, onion – 4.3% and pomegranate – 3.3%.

In January-April 2023, the share of fruits and vegetables in total exports amounted to 3.3%.

The main export markets for Uzbekistan’s fruits and vegetables are Russia (27.4%), Pakistan (20.6%), China (16.3%), Kazakhstan (13.9%), Afghanistan (2.4%), Kyrgyzstan (2.4%), Belarus (2.0%), Turkey (1.9%), Iraq (1.5%), Iran (1.2%).
